Responsible Fishing and Aquaculture Week

On the occasion of the 8th edition of Responsible Fishing and Aquaculture Week, the JMI Group presents the MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) and ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) labels. From February 12 to 18, Gel-Pêche will be one of the 55 partners of this global event, promoting ASC certification.

Across the various companies within the Group, we are committed to raising awareness and encouraging a more responsible consumption of seafood, as we all have a role to play.

Currently, nearly 2000 aquaculture farms are ASC certified, and we take pride in offering these products through our companies: Gel Pêche & Crusta C.

The primary goal of this certification is to transform conventional aquaculture to make it more environmentally friendly and socially responsible.

We implement measures to reduce our ecological footprint, such as minimizing the impact on habitats and biodiversity, efficient use of water and energy resources, and more.
